Football AI: one minute, a closer look

What it does
I built a local application that finds the players in wide-angle match footage, separates the two teams from the goalkeepers and referees, and turns the result into team statistics you can review. This page shows one continuous minute of a university match.
What I built
Panoramic detection: overlapping tiles and batched inference on a 2560-px wide stadium view
Team, goalkeeper and referee separation from kit-colour evidence, with uncertain players left grey
A local processing app with queued jobs, resource limits and a separate human-review layer

Honest limits
The AI does the player detection and team grouping. Ball positions, possession and passes were checked by hand for this showcase, so they are reviewed figures, not fully automatic output.
